Compariqo had the pleasure of sponsoring the Tall Buildings Awards 2024 hosted by the CTBUH (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat). The event was held on the 25th of June 2024 in London, with an estimated 200 participants in attendance.
Future Tall Buildings:
The Tall Building Awards Day started with intriguing presentations on the landscape of current and future tall buildings, after which the Compariqo team had a blast meeting exhibitors. The afternoon was full of interesting talks from many delegates on the projects they have been working on throughout the year; with a focus on their environmental impacts and sustainability. This then led into the final portion of the day, the award ceremony.
A total of eleven award winners were announced; with awards focused around the best the industry has to offer, the most sustainable tall building in the industry and finally the most innovative technology.
Compariqo had the pleasure of being the trophy sponsor for this event, meaning our team was there to support CTBUH in producing the awards.
We would like to congratulate all the winners, acknowledging the hard work an dedication they’ve put in to each of their projects.
Scott Robers, Senior Business Development Manager for Compariqo and Jay Rajani, Business Development Manager for Exance attended the day, each of them had a fantastic time meeting exhibitors and listening in on the enlightening talks.
Scott’s personal highlight was being able to meet Darren Twomey from Tide Construction, he said, “Tide Construction won three awards for their project ‘College Road’ taking place in Croydon.
“An absolutely amazing project and well deserving of the recognition afforded to them at the awards.”
We would like to thank the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat for hosting an amazing day and providing opportunities for many different sectors of the Tall Buildings industry to come together and celebrate those who have spearheaded the industry forward.
